Llangathen Temperance Hall in Carmarthenshire, SA32 8QT
Breton and French tunes for dancing. Expert tuition and glorious music for your delight! Come and learn or perfect the steps to join in with this style of folk dancing.
Beginners are most welcome – let us know if you’re new to dancing and we’ll make sure you feel especially comfortable and looked after!
In between the workshop and bal there will be a bring and share meal - a chance to eat, drink, be merry and catch up with old and new friends. Please label contributions clearly with allergens. There is no bar, however you are welcome to bring your own alcohol. Tea, coffee, squash and biscuits will be provided.

We are at D'Accord French and Breton dance and music in Exeter on the 12th November 2022
Doors open at 2.30pm for the dance workshop from 3 - 5.30pm.
Bring and share supper in the hall between 6 - 6.45pm.

GRAND BAL DE CHESTER 2019

Tickets are available for: the full event, for individual workshops or just the evening dance.
14.00-15.30 - Couple dance workshop by expert teacher, Pat Goodacre. For beginners and improvers alike. Smooth soled shoes desirable.
16.00-17.30 – Music workshop. For musicians who want to have a go at playing French and Breton music for dance. Bring your instruments.
16.00-17.30 – Breton Dance workshop by Annette Davies of Kantref. Suitable for beginners and more experienced dancers
17.30-19.30 – Music session and supper break. The music session is free with workshop, Bal or full event tickets. Music will be available or email for copies in advance. Supper is not provided. Please bring food to share (and plate and cutlery). Alternatively try out some of the local restaurants.
19.30-23.00 – Evening Bal with music by Kantref. Kantref mixes accordions, guitar, fiddles, mandola, mandolin and bass to deliver an irresistible selection of French and Breton Dance music that will have everyone on their feet!
There is no licensed bar but you are welcome to bring a bottle and glasses. Tea and coffee will be available.
